History
Asuka Langley Soryu is the pilot of Evangelion Unit-02 from the anime 'Evangelion'. Born in Germany, she was trained from childhood to pilot in order to gain her mother's attention. After the tragic death of her mother, who lost her mind and hanged herself before her daughter's eyes, Asuka built a wall of pride around herself and decided to prove she is the best.
